How many times has your perfect shot been ruined by the presence of unwanted objects or people?
In this article you will find out how to delete objects and people from photos simply by using your iPhone or Android smartphone!
Unfortunately, it is often not possible to capture a subject as we would like, however in this simple tutorial I will help you solve the problem.
All you have to do is download the “Photo Retouch” app available for free for both iOS and Android devices.
It is an application that I have tested of several photos, and although it is not a professional tool, it allows you to obtain results of excellent quality.
Before explaining how it works, I’ll show you some results obtained using this app exclusively, so you can get an idea of what is possible!
Here is the tutorial!
1) Open the Photo Retouch app
First, open the application.
On the main screen you can choose between various features; the one you need to select is “Photo Eraser”.
2) Select the photo you want to edit
Now you will need to select the photo you want to edit.
Remember that you will get better results on photos with a smooth background and few details.
However, with a little practice, you can edit even more detailed photos.
Click on add and select the photos you want to import from your roll: if this is the first time you use this app you will need to allow access to the gallery.
Then click on the photo you want to edit.
3) Select the “Quick Repair” tool
Among the available tools click on “Quick Repair” and select the portion of the image you want to delete. As soon as you take your finger off the screen, the application will remove the selected portion.
The more precise your selection, the more accurate the removal will be.
Below you can select the stroke size to select the object.
If you are not satisfied you can go back with the arrow, or select the “Alter” function; this tool provides different results each time it is selected, allowing you to choose the one that you think is the best.
4) The “Clone” tool
This feature allows you to clone a portion of a photo to another location and is very useful for refining details.
You can change the size and hardness for this tool too.
5) Export your work
Once satisfied with your work you can export it by clicking on the icon at the top right.
You can select various formats and sizes and save the photo on the device or share it directly on social networks.
NOTE: Some features of this application are Vip, so they can only be used by paying for a subscription. However, all the tools mentioned in this article are free and sufficient to obtain the results I showed you in the example photos.
Every time you select a VIP feature a pop-up will open: be careful and if you don’t want to subscribe, click on the x to close it!
