Spring Photography: 5 tips to capture it wonderfully

In this article I will give you 5 tips on how to best photograph spring!

The bright colors, the scent of flowers, the light breeze that caresses our skin… yes, spring has arrived!
This is by far my favorite season, and for this reason, I have decided to collect all my tips in this article to best represent this wonderful period of the year in photography.

LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON!

Without further ado here are my 5 tips!

1) Enhance the colors

One of the characteristics that distinguishes spring are certainly the colors.

Green, yellow, red, blue enhances all colors using a polarizing filter!
I recommend you try a circular polarizing filter that will allow you to eliminate unwanted reflections and increase saturation.
In fact, the filter helps to “block” the light reflected from the water, therefore also that reflected by the billions of vapor droplets present in the atmosphere.
As a result, the sky will be much clearer and therefore more saturated.

2) White balance

Always remember to adjust the white balance so that the colors of the photos are faithful to reality.
In fact, the type of light can often affect colors by altering them.
It is certainly one of the first settings that you will need to check before starting to shoot.

3) It’s not all about flowers!

Surely they are the undisputed protagonists of spring but they are not the only ones!

Small animals that come out of hibernation, happy children having fun in the park but also the days of spring rain can provide numerous ideas for your photographs.
So take advantage of the beautiful spring days to go out and explore the city!

4) Play with perspective

As always, one of the most important and beautiful aspects of photography is to experiment!

Try taking your photos from different perspectives trying to capture unusual aspects of your subject.
For example, in the case of plants and flowers, try to shoot from below, placing yourself at their level. You will get suggestive effects that can make even the simplest flower very special!

5) Enjoy the rain!

Often in spring some days are characterized by a light rain.
Instead of getting sad about the bad day go out and take advantage of this opportunity!
In fact, rain can provide interesting insights.

The reflection in a puddle or the drops on a leaf will make you take beautiful photos!
